What Is Blackhorse Gives Back (BGB)?
Through Blackhorse Gives Back (BGB), we have found a way to contribute to the communities of Knoxville, Maryville, and Clarksville. BGB is a program in which Blackhorse donates beer, merchandise, and other resources to events that champion causes like education, human services, and environmental sustainability. By partnering with local organizations, BGB helps amplify efforts to make a difference, so we can all work together to strengthen the community.
How We Decide: The BGB Donation Process
Blackhorse Gives Back relies on a thoughtful and transparent process to ensure we make the greatest impact. Donation requests are submitted through an online form and reviewed by our team, focusing on events that align with our mission to support education, the arts, and human services. Requests must be placed at least 45 days in advance, allowing us to properly plan and contribute. Blackhorse Brewery is proud to support initiatives across Tennessee, including events held at other Clarksville, Knoxville, and Maryville restaurants and breweries.
Guidelines for Donations
Blackhorse Pub & Brewery is committed to making a difference in our communities, but to ensure that Blackhorse Gives Back (BGB) remains focused on supporting the initiatives that align with our values, we have set clear donation guidelines. We prioritize donations to 501(c)(3) organizations, though we are unable to donate to private events like weddings, camping trips, political groups, or religious activities. Recipients of donations must have a valid liquor license. All requests must adhere to these guidelines to be considered.
How to Apply for a BGB Donation
To apply for a donation from Blackhorse Pub and Brewery, simply fill out our online request form. Be sure to include all necessary details about your event and organization, ensuring it fits our donation guidelines. To give us enough time to review your request, submit it through email to donations@blackhorsebrews.com at least 45 days before your event. After your submission, you’ll receive an email with our decision within two to three weeks.
